This is the date of the National Armed Forces Day and also for Armed Forces Day in Hythe, Kent.

We are awaiting details on what the 2024 event will include and will post detail here as soon as we have the information.

In 2023, timings were: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, where a parade along the High Street commenced at 10:50 hours  It departed from Douglas Avenue, where all serving personnel and military veterans were welcome to take part. Led by a piper and RBL standards and others, a service of celebration and thanks took place outside the Town Hall at 11.00am, followed by a Reception in the Town Hall hosted by Hythe Town Council.

In all likelihood, we anticipate a similar event this year.
