It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Colin Frederick McKeown, who died peacefully at home on the evening of Saturday, 4th October 2025. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.
Colin had grown increasingly frail in recent months, and sadly his condition worsened rapidly in the final week. He was at home, where he wanted to be and passed away without pain and in comfort.
A proud Grenadier, Colin held his service in the Regiment with great honour and had been a valued member of our Branch for many years.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced. Branch members will be informed as soon as details become available.

Oh God, grant that thy servants, The Grenadier Guards, may ever be mindful of their proud and costly heritage, that continuing to guard what is right, and fighting for what is just, they may serve Thee in this life, that they may be counted worthy to continue their service in the life to come.
