The next General Officer Commanding London District (The Major General) is a Grenadier.
Major General James Bowder OBE, is presently handing over as Director of Army Futures and is still the Regimental Lieutenant Colonel. He starts at Horse Guards in September 2023, and we wish him every success in his new appointment.
